Re: has anyone tried 16/45 gearing on a 14
I have done some high .30's with 16/44 at 65 3/4 inches and I am 235 suited. It does wear the fibers quick when shooting that low and that is the reason I will try the 46. It is not the 60 that should be important, but the 330.

Re: has anyone tried 16/45 gearing on a 14
It is like this ticket. Done on stock motor, no power adder. The 330 should be in the 3.70's because I can get that same 330 with a 1.45 60ft.

Re: has anyone tried 16/45 gearing on a 14
16/46 here with heavy clutch springs. My best 60 so far is a 1.42, but i average a 1.46. I'm 175 in shorts. As soon as I get an air shifter i'm going to be going to 16/48. Eklipse636 is turning 1.35-1.38 on 16/48 and he's 210 lbs-ish.
One of the best things I ever did was listen to wheelie on the steep gearing.
