Re: 6.60 super street battle
smokinjoe How you like that vrod? I have been thinking about buying me one. Was going to go with a destoryer but that a lot of money to only run high 9"s in a 1/4 and then not be streetable.

Re: 6.60 super street battle
I really enjoy it. I was between it and the Destroyer also. I just could $pend the money for a track use only bike. Mine is just as fast and still street legal.
You can pick up usedDestroyers well under 15k these days. But you can get a street VRod for about 5k and do mods yourself and still be under15k. Let me know if I can help you out, if you decide to oull the trigger.

Re: 6.60 super street battle
Smokin joe. If I get a chance and if you dont mind I may came over at one of the races and check out your bike. I'm torn on what I want to do. I'd really like to have a bar bike ,,but I have always wanted a vrod also. One of my buddies who is a harley nut told me to stay away from any thing older than an 06. He said they way down on hp.
So I;m looking and if you run across one at a good deal, let me know.

None of the VRods will be at the first SEMDRA 2010 race. The 2 guys from Blackcat motorsports have there motors apart. And my swingarm, axle and rear wheel are at Adams getting the stretch treatment. Your buddie is not really giving you good info. There is little to no difference in the hp between the 1130 and 1250 motors. You can get Vrods now for less than 5K. I just picked up a 06 with 12k miles for $5,200.00 A good motor job is going to run ya 5K or put the bike on a serious diet and add a nice wet system!

Just want to wish my boy "Joe Cool" good luck this weekend. I'm not going to make it to the race.
