CJ.....I would recommend setting it up for a bigger guy like us and add a padding option on the tail section for when you put fly weights on it.

I have made a few for some friends out of aluminum and steel. I have one of mine on a 08 1000 out of steel and it shaved a pound even with the extention for the tail

did mine very light has a panel in it and powder coated... real nice but i would perfer adjustable botton mount for body to tire adustability..
